RIIWHS205D – Control Traffic With Stop-Slow Bat (Theory)

$375This course provides training for those who are required to control traffic with a stop-slow bat. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills required to perform traffic control safely for coworkers and the public.
In order to achieve a Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS205D Control Traffic with Stop-Slow Bat, the participant must satisfy the practical requirements for the unit of competency. This includes 20 hours of supervised stop-slow bat operation on an active worksite which is recorded in a logbook.
If you require us to assist in placing you for your vocational placement to undertake the 20 hours experience, an additional fee of $120 (incl. GST) will be charged.
Upon successful completion of this course, candidates are required to apply for an Industry Authority from the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR). In addition to the competency requirements, TMR has specific criteria candidates are required to meet to gain accreditation.
