This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to carry out measurements and perform simple calculations to determine task and material requirements for a job in the civil construction industry.

This unit supports achievement of skills to take measurements and use these to calculate material qualities and calculations for related tasks commonly used and applied in construction work.
