The White Card course (CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) is a mandatory requirement for anyone who wants to work in the construction industry.
This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to undertake work health and safety (WHS) induction training within the construction industry. It supports the attainment of basic WHS knowledge which is required prior to undertaking designated tasks within any sectors of the construction industry and relates directly to the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction for Construction Work (ASCC 2007).
